Stucco is important for protecting inside structures. If stucco fails and breaks down, you could be susceptible to further damage, creating a greater problem. Many stucco systems fail due to improper installation and use of materials, especially in prefabricated(modern), wood-framed buildings and chimneys.
This chimney was built from concrete masonry units (CMU) block. A two part stucco system is installed onto a masonry chimney.
Bricks will be replaced, and a new coat of white stucco.
